On September 15, 1963, the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama was bombed by white supremacist terrorists. Four black girls, Addie Mae Collins, Cynthia Wesley, Carole Robinson and Carol Denise McNair were killed that day more than 50 years ago.
