Post-Racial Update: "Slavery: The Game" – It's Finally Here!

I’m really enjoying this post0racial society stuff, y’all! No for real; I’m so glkad that we’re over all this racism stuff. Jesus Christ! That racism stuff was so 17th century. And you know what? It’s good to finally live in a world where ther are no more hang-ups about skin color, or where the realization of equality has finally been reached, by “certain people” embracing the concept. I must say, it’s been groovy!

Did you know that there’s a video game coming out sometime soon that is based on slavery? No shit! The game is set for release in 2012, and there’s even a website dedicated to it’s promotion (see here).Yeah, supposedly it’s kinda like some throwback game of Monopoly except there’s no Boardwalk or”get out of jail free” cards. I mean this game is so cool, you actually get to go back in time and pretend to be one of those very evil slave-masters or plantation owners and build an empire. I mean how cool is that?!! You can get to build your own America, son!

Check out the trailer:

Now you know three years agho before Barack Obama became president, this would not have been acceptable. No shit! Can you imagine someone like the now defunct and unnecessary NAACP marching and protesting – you know, doing what those old heads used to do – the creators of this game? I mean just think: three years ago before Obama, I as a Black man couldn’t play a game like this and pretend to be an actual slave owner! But yo, today? Son, I can actually play this shit and get my “your name is Toby” ass-whoopin’ on, son!

I swear I can’t wait for them to come out with the Cowboy & Indian version of this game. Oooh! Oooh!! The Throwing Jews in the oven game would so be the shit! Word, son; like I said, I really love this post-racial society shit, yo. And on the real… I hope this shit ain’t fake ‘cuz that would be so wrong if it is. Yep, especially if this is some kinda anti-Obama practical joke put out by those folks who just can’t let go of the past. Lord knows they’d do anything to turn back the clock. I mean we got video games where nigge… oops, where African Americans can steal cars, rob, and kill people. No word on whether you can rape slave bitches;; but shit, ’bout time they came with something like this. This shit makes me proud; and, hopefully the release it just in time for Black History Month, son! Yeah, that would be awesome!! Hell, anything to educate the kids is fine by me.

Umm, you do know that this game is a fake and that there is no javelin red games, right? The whole website, however high quality it may be, isn’t real.

    Just Sayin.

You sure? I’m only asking because it would really suck if it is actually fake. I was actually looking forward to playing it.

It’s fake. I tried to find the company that claims to actually have developed this game and it does not exist. when you enter javelin red games’ so called url, you are redirected to the slavery the game website. There are no primary sources for the game, only secondary blogs, and web forums.

And then the 17th Century is where they are starting? Not to mention the absence of the Trans Atlantic slave strade or the Actual Eorpean nations that played a pivotal role in the trans-atlantic slave trade.

Like you, I’d have been interested in seeing the actual game played, but only if the game was as graphic and horrible as the real slavery black people endured. Maybe then both black and white people can stop relegating slavery to some category of basic white discourtesy to blacks andcall it what it really was… domestic terrorism. Maybe it would help people understand why movies like “The Help” help nothing except for white people to deodorize and re-write their past.

It’s fake though and too many people need to know that. Everything on the net isn’t truth. Some folks have alot of time on their hands to do stupid shit.

We should put the major retailers on notice not to sell these games and put the company selling this game “on blast.”  I can’t imagine Walmart carrying this game.  This might be conveniently timed to coincide with Obama’s re-election campaign, in an effort to create color-arousing trouble.  So, a quiet campaign to keep the major retailers and Amazon from selling this game might be most advantageous.

If they’re going with that subject, cover the whole shebang, from ancient history to current times.  There’s plenty to go around…sadly!
