Wait, Did Herman Cain Call Rick Perry Racist? Niggerhead? Insensitive?? Really??!!
Well, I didn’t see this coming; and, I’m sure you didn’t either. I knew everybody in the race to become the Republican presidential nominee has been pretty much dumping on Rick “J.R. Ewing” Perry. But, er, this one here is kinda, well, racial (?). It would seem that the Republican Negro of the Month, and head jig master, Herman Cain, isn’t too happy with level of sensitivity of fellow contender, Rick Perry. According to Cain, when it comes to the issue of race and Black folks, Perry can stand to take some tips from Ralph Tresvant in the sensitivity area. Yeah, because you know how sensitive Republicans are about race. After all, they can’t be racist when Herman Cain being a favorite.
Following a Washington Post report that Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry’s family hunting camp in Texas once had the word “Niggerhead” painted on a large rock at its entrance, the Perry campaign is scrambling to control the damage.
Perry insists that his father painted over the offensive word on the Fourth of July weekend of 1983 or 1984, as soon as his family began leasing the property, and his campaign communications director Ray Sullivan pointed out in a statement that Perry’s family never actually owned the West Texas property.
“A number of claims made in the story are incorrect, inconsistent and anonymous, including the implication that Rick Perry brought groups to the lease when the word on the rock was still visible,” he said. “The one consistent fact in the story is that the word on a rock was painted over and obscured many years ago.”
Sullivan’s statement conflicts with some of the witnesses’ accounts in the Washington Post story, which allege that the racial slur was still visible throughout the ’80s and “as recently as this summer.”
Fellow Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain, who is now neck and neck with Perry, according to a recent Fox News poll, took the opportunity on Sunday to call Perry “insensitive” for his handling of the situation.
“There isn’t a more vile, negative word than the ‘n word,’ and for him to leave it there as long as they did is just plain insensitive to a lot of black people in this country,” he said during an interview on “Fox News Sunday.”
Political strategists say the racially-charged hunting camp controversy and Cain’s criticism of Perry could potentially be a big problem for the Texas Republican’s campaign as he tries to prove his electability against President Obama. (source)
Now I don’t know whether Rick Perry is racist or not; and, I’m not sure one “Niggerhead” ranch is evidence of that he is. Now maybe if he had a sign that read “No Niggers Governors Mansion” hanging over the entrance to where he lives, with a Confederate flag flying over it? Well yeah, maybe then I could say he’s racist. But then again, he is in fact the Dollar Store version of George W. Bush, and we all now know thanks to Kanye West that “he doesn’t like Black people.” And add to that the fact that he’s a Tea Party darling, who some claim to be a rag tag racist bunch. Hell, even Morgan Freeman said the Tea Party is racist; and, that brother played God in a couple movies, so I’m sure he knows. Shit, if Morgan Freeman says they’re racist, then they’re racist; he played in Glory.

So yeah, maybe Perry is a little bit racist, or has racist-like tendencies. However, what I find funny is that now that Herman Cain has some shine in the Republican Party he wants to pull the race card. An act which as you all know, us brainwashed Black folk who vote Democrat are often accused of doing.
I’m sorry, but where was Cains talk of “insensitivity when Teabaggers were raising all types of hell out in public? Where was he when fellow members of the Republican party referred to the First lady, Michelle Obama, as a monkey? Hell, where was his Black ass when president Obama was depicted as a shoe shine boy? It’s the frigging Republican Party for crying out loud; their shit is well documented. Yes, the Southern Strategy is as real as the Willie Horton ad, and the Bush campaign push polling and telling folks not to vote for John McCain because he has a Black baby.
Hell, what’s on “Niggerhead” among friends, Herman? It’s clear to me that Cain is only speaking up and out about Perry because it’s politically convenient. One has to wonder if Cain were not in the spotlight since winning the Florida Straw Poll, if he would be pulling his best Black Republican- Malcolm X impression, by speaking out against Perry’s “Niggerhead” Ranch?
Of course my inner Nat Turner thinks Herman “Coontastic” Cain is full of it. Hell, I wouldn’t doubt his Black ass as being the type to tell “nigger jokes” to some of those “Good ‘Ole Boys” out on the campaign trail with a smile to gain support. But yet, he thinks he’s going to get 33% of the Black vote, should he become the Republican nominee(?). Negro please! We see your game, Herman; yes, we see you living up to your kneecap-licking ways, Truth is, they’re all racist; and, it’s only a fool who wouldn’t recognize it; a boot-licker who would support it; and a racist who would applaud it. Sorry, Herman doesn’t give a damn about racial sensitivity; not when they cut checks. And as much of a racism chaser as I am, I hate that a race card was wasted here.
