Herman Cain: “If You Don’t Have A Job And You’re Not Rich, Blame Yourself!”
Recently I explained what I thought would be a successful campaign strategy for Barack Obama in 2012. I’m still of the opinion that POTUS should go left; not sure how much, but go left nonetheless. Heck, if you look at what he is doing right now, he’s pretty much there, almost. He has managed to carry a consistent populist message counter to the GOP, and he’s even calling out names, and putting them on blast as he should. And why does this work? Well, take a look at the following:
OK, did you get that? No? You didn’t hear what he said about the Occupy Wall Street movement, and the people protesting? OK, here it is again; be sure to read slowly and marinate on it:
“I don’t have facts to back this up, but I happen to believe that these demonstrations are planned and orchestrated to distract from the failed policies of the Obama administration. Don’t blame Wall Street, don’t blame the big banks, if you don’t have a job and you’re not rich, blame yourself! … It is not a person’s fault if they succeeded, it is a person’s fault if they failed.” – Herman Cain
Now, given our current economic crisis and with somewhere around 25 million people either unemployed, or underemployed. Do you think what Cain expressed bears repeating so as to understand where the GOP is on this? Can you now see why I said what I said about Obama’s strategy, and why he’s going to defeat all comers on the right next year? Point blank: they don’t care about us. Hell, like Cain said, it’s your damn fault if you’re unemployed and not a millionaire.
Hopefully currently unemployed non-millionaires don’t make the mistake of blaming GOP politicians for their obstructionism as far as a jobs bill. Yep, blame yourselves, folks; it’s all your damn fault.
Am I the only one who wants to see Cain commit suicide?
This is the closest you’ll get to seeing that. LOL
No. You are not.
Once again, woof tickets are being sold in the confines of a studio. Not in the midst of the OWS forces in any part of the nation. We need to start acting like we are Ticket Master and cash in on some of the checks that he continues to write.
LOL… I like that one!
I am in shock!
“I don’t have facts to back this up but I happen to believe ” is EXACTLY the sort of sober minded critical thinking you want in someone who has access to nuclear launch codes.
Aw shucky ducky now!!!!
No one should be surprised by Cain’s rhetoric. He is a tap dancing fool, who clearly isn’t focusing on campaigning. All he cares about is selling his book, and making a name for himself after the campaigning is officially over. After Cain said that he believes women should not have abortions even if she was raped, I decided a long time ago I can not listen or digest anything that comes out of that idiots mouth.
I remembered when he said that about abortion – that was disgusting. I think you’re right; he is saying all this outlandish stuff to appeal to a certain mindset for profit. He may actually believe what he says, and that’s the scary part about it.
Speaking of his book, how do you write a book titled “This is Herman Cain: My Journey to the White House?” The “journey” just started, it hasn’t ended and you haven’t even gotten to the White House and never will. I thought the chronicling of a journey happened when the journey has ended and you’ve arrived at the destination? SMH. There are no words to categorically explain this guy, his views or his positioning on a number of issues, including his views on abortion that you’ve mentioned. What worries me more than Cain himself, are his supporters. Who are they and what are they thinking?
Herman Cain can go fuck himself. Two Times.
Yeah I said it.
Co-sign…
What an idiot.
Check out the advise Poppa Cain gave to Herman and why Herman did nothing as a southern college student during the Civil Rights Movement.
