Louisiana School to Use Fingerprint Scans for Student Lunch Program

Imagine that: kids getting the “Mark of the Beast” for a turkey sandwich. Yep, welcome to Biometrics Surveillance is America. There is something very disturbing when children are used to “forward” surveillance technology. In a small, modest-earning town in Louisiana, an elementary school is implementing a palm scanning device in their lunch program. This latest implementation of surveillance is one of a long line of biometrics surveillance and tracking what will be called your digital footprints and biometrics footprints.

The youth will have to scan their palms instead of giving a ticket. According to the principal, the palm scanner provides more accuracy. To whom he doesn’t say, but it is probably for government purposes in a free lunch program for needy children. Either that or for all those lunch thieves in the second grade stealing beans and rice and beignets.

But thank goodness there is an “opt out” program.

This from the Huffington Post:

Moss Bluff Elementary School in Louisiana is looking to streamline lunch payments by implementing a palm vein scanner program, but some parents aren’t pleased.

A letter to parents this week informed them of the new scanner that will allow the school’s nearly 1,000 students to move through the lunch line faster and with fewer payment mistakes – an issue that had arisen in the past, KPLC-TV reports.

While the letter notes that parents can opt their children out of the program, parent Mamie Sonnier told KPLC-TV that she was angry and disappointed by the program, as the scanner violates her beliefs. She contends that if the scanners actually make it to the school cafeteria, she’ll be transferring her kids to another school.

“As a Christian, I’ve read the Bible, you know go to church and stuff,” Sonnier said. “I know where it’s going to end up coming to, the mark of the beast. I’m not going to let my kids have that.”

Calderara notes that it’s just “technology that is used throughout our lives. Everywhere.”

Florida’s Pinellas Schools were the first to adopt palm scanning technology to pay for lunch last fall under a voluntary program. The technology uses infrared light to read unique vein patterns connected to meal plans.

It’s two seconds to buy a meal. Literally, two seconds,” Edward Rutenbeck, senior user support analyst with Pinellas Schools Food Services told WTSP.

Are you appalled? please don’t be. Using children, poor communities, military enlistees and prisoners have been the easiest, simplest population of guinea pigs. Don’t think so? Just ask Disney; they have already implemented facial recognition, fingerprint scanners and monitors throughout the park. Yes, it is a small world after all, folks.

Or maybe ask the martial artist suffering from Parkinson’s Disease who was arrested at a cycling event London Olympics by technology that reads body signals to determine if you are threat, and was snatched up because he was not smiling. r perhaps, theLondon advertisement agency, Clear Channel UK and 3D Exposure; that determines how to target consumers based on recognition of gender with facial recognition and eyeball scans.

This is not Wonderland, Terminator 3, or Total Recall, its the now ladies and gentlemen. Get ready for the ride, and take pictures all the time.

Look at this notice how it’s a white parent talking about her children not getting scanned BUT the video was showing BLACK CHILDREN at the END talking about who is getting scanned they are sending hidden messages in here! Saying it’s mainly for the Black Children school to prison pipeline! Truth has come to you!

      Good eyes, my friend.

I guess it’s no accident that Louisiana has the highest number of people incarcerated per capita on the planet. Yes, this is a little known fact that I had to put out there..

65.7% of Louisiana’s school kids are eligible for free/reduced lunch.
86.7% of black American kids are eligible in the state. Given those demographics, I say you’re right when it comes to prepping those kids (and their poor white counterparts) for a lifetime of getting scanned into the system. This is some rather insidious shit.
