David Starkey: "The Whites Have Become Black"

Did I ever tell you that I have peeps in London? Yeah, I have relatives in the UK. Uh-huh, please believe us West Indians and Caribbean people are all over the place. That said, after watching the coverage of the London riots I’ve had a few conbversations with my kinfolk over there. And lemme tell you, they ain’t happy. In particular, they have a major problem with the comments of David Starkey .

My peepes in England are all in an uproar over these comments. So much so that they’ve voiced their displeasure with the BBC in the form of complaints. Not sure just what would come of it; hell, over here we couldn’t even keep Don Imus off the air permanently. But the sad reality is that thius is what some in the dominant culture think. When you listen to this man, you realize that things are not that different from America over in England. After all, ain’t that where they came from?

“What has happened is that the substantial section of the chavs that you wrote about have become black. The whites have become black. A particular sort of violent, destructive, nihilistic gangster culture has become the fashion. Black and white, boy and girl operate in this language together. This language, which is wholly false, which is this Jamaican patois that has intruded in England. This is why so many of us have this sense of literally a foreign country.”

I know, sounds like your typical American-bred white racist or slave-catching-sellout Negro, right? Yep, I guess everything wrong in Great Britian – much like the United States – can be blamed on Hip Hop culture and the influx of immigrants who happen to have a darker than normal tan. It is this sentiment that runs the anti-immigrant and white nationalist movement… but y’all don’t hear me tho.

    The funny part about hearing him attempt to run with this Rupert Murdoch style drivel is that if I recall back to “My fair lady” that doesn’t sound too far off from Cockney. As was stated the Us vs Them mentality is unsustainable but its the only way they know how to package and sell their nihilistic views, because last I checked killing someone ALWAYS begets vengeance. It may not end up in full scale riots but the list of “I am gonna take so and so out for killing my friend/kin/lover/leader” is higher than that new sky scraper in Dubai.

    I’m sure when the Beatles came out with all that folksy talk and rhythmic music that he wasn’t at all offended, even though that too was black inspired music. And Tom Jones would have fit right in with the Temptations, soulful music is not evil, wicked, or perverse(okay wait some of it was but ahem if you want to hear somebody sing your panties off thats your right). His ass ass backwards views are the same as are levied against the youth of his nation(and any other western dominated nation) everytime a new STYLE, SOUND, OR VOICE emerges. If you google Devil Music I am willing to bet you will find such things as Jazz, be bop, Rock and Roll(probably grunge too) as well as pop come up why because somebody mad that they can’t turn their hearing aid down low enough not to feel the music is made that it’s moving them.

    Sooner or later the older generation is going to have to learn to past the torch without invoking Charleton Heston’s “Cold Dead Hands” line. If you do not understand the culture either take the time to learn it or else pipe the hell down and shut up. Does that mean because that one idiot locked his daughter up in an elaborate labyrinth that white culture is about incest, forcible rape, and illegal imprisonment? I am tempted to bring up thoughts of imperial England and all of the blood shed born from that but personally I feel that is a little heavy handed(though I am sure the Hindu’s might have something to say about the British culture of violence)

      Sooo since I could site the celts, the Galles, the Romans, the British, the French, Hessians and Germans for the white do you really want to get into the genetics when I could point to a HISTORY BOOKS worth of atrocities committed by those with a low melanin count. Yes it was a violent protest, violence begets violence, as that HISTORY BOOK will show.

      So again unless you want me to start talking about ovens, draw and quartering, flaming pyres and crusades I suggest you think before you speak. Because as it would be the WESTERN HISTORY BOOK while you may wish to try and turn a blind eye to what some Caucasians have done a call of WHITE is WHITE wouldn’t look that much nicer, or do you really want to go there?     PRIMALDATA…I’m trying to wean myself off of the “demon TV,” so I’ve taken to just watching shit that has really happened vs. that made-up bullshit.  However, I’m hooked – again – on “Dateline ID” (the channel is ID on DirectTV)!  Ever watch that shit??  I find myself shaking my damned head saying, “These white folk crazy as a mofo!”  Oh yeah, they’ve searched long and hard to include kinfolk in that deadly mix, and they have found – a few.  But nowhere near the number of wretched, brutal, crazier-n-hell white folk!   When you’re bored as hell one night, check that shit out.  It’s quite illustrative of that “white culture” with which we deal!

    As for ” If you do not understand the culture either take the time to learn it or else pipe the hell down and shut up.” – neither of your suggestions will ever happen because they don’t feel like they need to learn it, and they’re certainly not going to pipe the hell down and shut up (that whole “Divine Right”/supremacy thing and all).  This is not just about “the older generation” I promise you….

    This was disgusting and it would be laughable that people still think this way of it wasn’t so tragic. I do feel though, that an article that talks about ‘Us vs. Them’ has been written very much ‘Them vs. Us’ prejudice is wrong in any form. Anybody who is too ignorant to understand that shouldn’t be allowed near a computer!!
