Jeb Bush: “History will be kind to my brother”

Mar 11, 2013 No Comments by

If Jeb Bush is truly attempting to position himself for a run at the White House in 2016, he’s failing miserably. First it was the flip-flop on immigration reform and the question on providing a pathway to citizenship. But now, I suppose in his attempt to shift focus from his best Mitt Romney impression, Ole Jebadiah (seriously, I hope that isn’t really his name) is attempting to rebrand the tarnished Bush name with his comments on Meet The Press. That said, I hope he doesn’t think that we’ll be buying into this “Go Bush,” garbage.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush says that the public will view his older brother, former president George W. Bush, more favorably as time passes.

“In (my father’s) four years as president a lot of amazing accomplishments took place,” said Jeb Bush, the son of former President George H.W. Bush, during an interview on NBC’s Meet the Press. “So my guess is that history will be kind to my brother, the further out you get from this and the more people compare his tenure to what’s going on now.”

[...] Jeb Bush said he hasn’t yet spoken to their famous parents about the idea of his own 2016 run.

So, history will be kind to George W. Bush? Um, yeah, that will be a negative, pal. Nice try with trying to make the electorate Bush-friendly though. History hasn’t been kind to Adoph Hitler, and I doubt that day will ever come (heck, when was the last time you heard of anyone with the last name Hitler in the media). Yeah, Jeb’s big brother Georgie is right up there in popularity with Adolph Hitler, and that other white guy, O.J. Simpson..

Stick to golf, Jeb.

Even so, something tells me that we’ll never forget the damage big bro has done to the country and the world at large. Jeb might think he’s slick, but I doubt whether he’ll say that crap while standing at a podium in the Middle East. Matter of fact, screw it, I feel like throwing a shoe at him just for saying this dumb shit. I don’t know how far into the future we’ll have to go before anyone would consider putting Dubya’s name on United States currency. But, on the packaging of toilet paper on the other hand; yeah, tell me three good things Bush has done for the country.

Uh huh, looks like the Jebster is on that crack and heroin….
