Most of the blogs I read were anonymous and they tend to disappear quickly when they start to gain momentum or identities are, eventually, outed and/or they are ridiculed on popular online forums (like Lipstick Alley). I was, admittedly, put-off by some of them posting pics of their cash and gifts. But then again, this is a tech-driven/need-to-share culture, and these are very young women, some of whom obviously haven’t grasped the core meaning of discretion (based on what I’ve noticed, an older ‘kept’ woman wouldn’t spill… not even under an anonymous online identity). Overall, I’m not keen on judging folks for what they choose to do with their social lives, but wrote this out of my own curiosity. I hope they’re saving their coins and continue to put some of the money towards their tuition. Don’t see the use in being broke with a pair of $1000 shoes. Seems counter-productive, no?

As for their preference for white sugar daddies over. black men, I’m still working the *reasons* out behind that one, but folks want who they want I suppose, although those preference are often shaped by societal standards. To be fair, there are many rich black men who aren’t interested in black women either, so that knife can certainly cut both ways; although I refuse to abide any woman of color, who’ll willingly allow a man to make her feel inadequate because of her race/ethnicity, just so she can get free meals at 4 star restaurants and an ‘allowance’. That’s the mark of a very insecure person (imo).

Second, if Black “sugar babies” hold racist views about Black “sugar daddies” then they should just take whatever rich White racist trash they end-up with and shut the heck up.
