The Kanye that made the world shift uncomfortably when he read George W. Bush to filth about Hurricane Katrina, is long gone. And while I think the antagonist got everything Kanye dealt him, I don’t think Kanye was standing up against the N-word, as much as he was defending a Kardashian’s right to date him.

I mean, he did sit up on Jimmy Kimmel, and in that affected accent, say it’s no longer about racism, but the new oppression was classism… since he can’t break a billion & get sole acceptance in ‘the circle’, like his buddy Jay-Z. I wonder if he still thinks race & class are mutually exclusive, now that he has to fork over a check to a racist.

I’m seeing two Kanyes, the black one and the “white” one, and I think his black half is fighting against the side who tries so hard to be white and accepted. We may be seeing a case Frantz Fanon syndrome unfold right before our very eyes.
