I can’t say that I’ve always been a big fan of Al Sharpton. He’s certainly had his moments, but all in all….this was a very good movie.

*sigh* I’ve been extremely hesitant about seeing this movie (and interestingly, the person who is encouraging me to see it is a Black man, as it happens). I’ve hesitated -not because I dislike Tarantino or anything, but sometimes his movies make me uncomfortable (which I suspect may well be the point)…but one of the issues with a boycott like this…? It’s going to result in a lot of people who dislike Sharpton on principle to go see the movie. I like Sharpton all right…most of the time, even while I don’t always agree with him…but I know a lot of my own extended family would do something for the sake of doing something just to spite him, even though they don’t know him. (I can’t imagine for a moment any of them turning over $300 for a doll, but they’d definitely drop some cash to see the movie). *sighs again*
