I have two basic complaints. First, the moderators should have asked the candidates about their positions on racial profiling, affirmative action and mass incarceration. It is a shame that the candidates have not been asked about those issues during the 2012 presidential campaign. Second, there should be at least one black moderator. All white moderators does not represent America's diversity. Our absence from the process renders us irrelevant. My article is not about President Obama or his campaign. I have two basic complaints. Mitt Romney is just a little too focused on his "brothers"; while our president is clearly trying to be the president for all. Let him become a lame duck president, and not have to worry about re-election. If he gets re-elected he will be able to assign at least 2 supreme court justices. That a lot better than feel good issues for black Americans. I think the president knows that racism exist, but if he was to campaign as if he was Al Sharpton what good would that do us and surly he would lose.Besides look at the alternative, these problems in the black community did not start yesterday.
