True, However, Obama did sign a Financial Reform Bill that's very unpopular with Republicans. Hence their cry that he is bad for the economy. This is the crux of the post: How can he be bad for the economy in the eyes of Republicans, when the very corporate interest they serve is doing much better under his presidency? 3) Legislative power by way of regulations are what polices the behavior of the wealthy, and this is where Occupy Wall Street comes in - this is central to economic justice, or the issue of the huge disparity or concentration of wealth at the top. 1) What’s the alternative as far as “who to vote for?”

Perfect reason NOT to vote for a Democrat or a Republican. 2. Obama has continued so many of Bush policies, it is hard to tell the two apart. Also, back to the old tendency to take credit when things go well and deflect responsibility onto previous administrations when things go wrong. 3. Fluctuations in the economy are carefully orchestrated by those who hold the true power. 1. Perfect reason NOT to vote for a Democrat or a Republican.

The fact is, that's a lie. The economy is stagnant because there is no financial investment from Wall Street banks - they're not loaning any money to small businesses, but yet they are sitting on trillions in cash reserves. Any more questions? 1) Both parties are beholden to Wall Street.

Please do clarify..... Note: this is a question asked in good faith... I have read this post 4 times and are still thoroughly confused... In my mind if Wall Street is bad, and Wall Street is doing well under Obama, then Obama should be criticized by the left for being beholden to Wall Street..... Not  that anything this post has highlighted is something that I am overall in favor of, but how do they allow Wall Street, the Big Banks, or anyone begin to garner any traction on how President Obama has been bad for them??  Now things have not been so great for Main Street, but your post clearly shows that all the whining we here from Wall Street is a joke. For the life of me, I have no ideal as to why this Administration does not go to Wall Street and tell them they need to drink a tall glass of shut up juice, because they have done well in the last 2 years. Plus to be honest, this Administration has been a major reason why many of them bankers have not been literally tarred and feathered. They have blocked most real regulations, they certainly could have nationalized the banks, they could have removed most of their compensation as a result of bailing them out. None of that has been done, they have prospered, and yet they still are whining. These guys were bailed out, made better than whole, and allowed to, with little to no push back allowed to act as if they been harmed. While they should be faulted about this, the fact that they have yet to be called out on it is somewhat astonishing.  Just to drive that point home here are a few links: History Lesson: Wall Street, Economy Do Better Under Democrats http://www.perrspectives.com/blog/archives/001233.htm The Record: Wall Street, Economy Do Better Under Democrats http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/09/16/600655/-The-Record:-Wall-Street,-Economy-Do-Better-Under-Democrats Why they allow this myth to continue and continue to be fostered is amazing.
