VERY good question. That says to me that not only was Mr.Sandusky out of control a LONG time ago…but that is so morally reprehensible that I can’t see how in the world there are people that support Mr.Paterno, at all. He KNEW. He was told and he didn’t do a damn thing. While that’s not quite as bad as what Sandusky did…Joe Paterno is DIRECTLY responsible for ANYTHING inappropriate that occurred from that day forward. He should go to jail ALSO if you ask me. IJS.

A young man sees a older man raping a boy and doesn’t stop it. He’s a coward and evil. And so is everyone else that knew and didn’t do anything. There was an obvious lack of institutional controls at Penn State. A man is RAPING a boy in a public shower. That man obviously has no fear of being seen or caught. Why is that?

Everyone involved should be fired and investigated to see what charges are appropriate. But in the meantime the NCAA should suspend Penn State.

Absolutely AGREED. Man. How in the World did he NOT report this? How in the HELL did he allow Sandusky in the weight room after that? How was he on campus…just last week? It’s immoral. It’s unethical. It was WRONG for Joe Paterno, Graham Spanier, the AD, Campus Security Chief, The Grad Student. ALL were WRONG. I hate to sound like they don’t deserve due process…but if even a fraction of what the Grand Jury’s findings are true…heads should ROLL.

There is no question about Joe Pa’s record as a coach. That was standing when this broke open and it will remain such until some other coach breaks his record.

This about a group of men who intentionally did not report a crime against children in their community. Even though Joe Pa did report what he knew to the university administrative staff, nothing was done about that knowledge that is acceptable in our society at large. This is a fact that each one of them will live with for the rest of their natural lives. They helped to enable a sexual predator terrorize children in their community. There is a story being invetigated that supports the reason why people should report these kind of incident immediately. It is possible that Sandusky’s foundation was being used to pimp boys to rich donors. If this is proven to be true then thei lack of speaking up has allowed this enslavement of children to spread beyond the campus community.

Every one of those men who knew and did not respond helped to terrorize those boys. I cannot support or condone that in any fashion. It was wrong and no university or football program is that kind of important in this type of case. In Ohio, every one of them would be up on charges with a possible jail term and a $10,000 fine for not reporting.

It’s over and this is the real world where people do not play that type of games with anyone’s life and well being.
