Shots Fired: Bill O’Reilly vs. Tavis Smiley & Dr. Cornel West

I used to watch Bill O’Reilly’s show regularly several years ago. I watched it because I saw it as pure comedy to me. Add to that the fact that I knew there were a host of people watching who took this guy seriously. However, somewhere along the line it got old, and my interest in his show slowly faded. Fast forward to today, and I see that Bill is up to his same old tricks. In the following clip he discusses poverty in America with Tavis Smiley, and Dr. Cornel West.

As you may know, these are two of my favorite people. So, I just knew they were going to bring it just the way I ike it. That is, they were going to tell it like it is. In the following clip Bill makes an attempt to create a direct correlation between substance abuse and poverty. In ultra-propagandist manner as only the master puppeteer Bill O’Reilly exists. In the following, he tries to convince the brothers that substance abuse was responsible for poverty in America, in his defense of Wall Street.

Check this out; I thought they were gonna fight:

The Black National Guard has been on the move in the past few days.  First there was the smack upside Herman Cain’s head.  Then off to Fauxland to do battle with O’Riley.

Question that comes to mind…and NO I’m not being facetious…”Could Bill O’ Reilly be MORE full of shit? Answer, in my opinion…NO.

I could not bring it to myself to watch this, it had nothing to do with Tavis or Dr. West, I cannot stomach Bill O Reilly. The only thing I am wondering is, if when O Reilly started on his course of drug addiction and poverty, did anyone stop to ask him about Beck and Limbaugh who are both rich, yet have had their issues with substance abuse?
